Week 5 Menu Plan

Week 5 already!! Sticking to the plan here – healthy during the week and comfort at the weekend. The thoughts at the back of my mind are always the same – are the kids going to eat this. And what is the outcome? They eat when they are hungry, whatever it is (and it is never that way-out and wild). Charlie (2) has been a nightmare at meal times, so this week we have a new strategy – serve the food and relax, eat our own meals without coxing and promping the kids to get eating. Here’s hoping it turns nightmare mealtimes into dream mealtimes!!

Monday: Sesame Chicken served with Quinoa

Tuesday: Chicken and Broccoli Pasta 

Wednesday: Chickpea Burgers

Thursday: Fish Stew

Friday: Sausages with Turnip and potato mash

Saturday: Taco with homemade spice

Sunday: Venison Stew with Yorkshire Puds
